Thiago Alves made three things abundantly clear on Saturday, after he stopped Matt Hughes via second round TKO in London, England in their catchweight main event at UFC 85.

First, Hughes’ time at the dominant figure in the UFC welterweight division, or even a significant one, is over. And that's actually been easier for us to accept than we expected.

 
Yahoo’s Iole thanks heavens for ‘find and replace’ function

Noted MMA columnist and complete UFC shill Kevin Iole screwed up in a major way this week when he authored a column for Yahoo.com that made repeated references to Brazilian welterweight Thiago Alves and his family of bankers.

Apparently it was not until after the column was published that Iole learned Alves’ family owns a bakery in Brazil. They are BAKERS not BANKERS.
